At Bowling Green in Caroline Co., about 2 miles from Milford station on the Fredericksburg R.R. the Colored people have a large building, containing school rooms and living rooms and a plenty of children.  The people are poor but want a school and need a school very much.  They had one last school year, but have none since last June.

You are at liberty to try that place if you like.  Or you may try Warrenton.
