Your rental account for quarter ending Dec. 31st 1869 has been forwarded to Washington, approved for $170.00/100.  The account as made out by your Society calls for 240.00.

The difference is caused as follows, viz:  You place under the head of "Average No Pupils" the total average enrollment, while it should only be Average daily attendance.  Rent is paid on schools having an average daily attendance of 30 or more pupils.  When schools fall below 30, the total average attendance of all schools are added together, provided no school has less than 15, and divided by 30, and the allowance made in accordance therewith.
