The above table presents an unexpected and exceedingly gratifying advance over the corresponding period last year. With the diminished aid from societies and the blight of the crops it was expected that less would be accomplished, but on the contrary we have the suprising result of an increased monthly average for the whole period of 1234 pupils, equal to an increase of more than twenty two per cent.
