Madam,
Your favor of 21st inst, is received. I have this day applied to rent, from A.H. Jones the lot of ground at Danville at $12.50/100 per mo. from Jan. 1st 1870.  This will pay the amount of rent for 1870 by June 30th.  Mrs Jones can then pay the attorneys the quarterly rents as they fall due in accordance with lease.
