General,

I have the honor to report that have upon my "land report" thirteen Barrack buildings, and upon my "property return" one building, all situated in Henrico Co Va, and known as "Howards Grove Hospital."

This Hospital is now, I am informed, used entirely as an Insane Hospital for colored patients, under charge of the State Authorities. Lately three buildings have been torn down to repair others.

I would most respectfully ask for instructions in regard to this, as I have no control over it although on my papers.
