Wm. J. S. Lovell.

Dear Madam: I have been in the city only two half days. in the last 12 days, and am much behind in correspondence and other business. I suppose there are no doubt about the continuous of the rental. It is June. I will notify the N.E.B. when any of their schools become two small to be continued. They are making a bad [[?]] of paying the teachers you turned over to them.
It was expressly arranged that I was to pay $10. to each as "rent", because Mr. Hooker cannot conscientiously draw "rental", and he (Mr. H.) was to pay them $10. less.
But I find that in most cases we have both bean paying them. - he near full salary and I $10. in addition.
It must be rectified

Yours Truly
R. M. Manly
