Sir,
Your supplementary Rental a/c for quarter ending Mch 31/70 has been approved for one hundred and forty (140) Dollars. We have disallowed the rent of the "Pungoteague School" for the following reasons. Rent has been paid to Gen'l. Armstrong for Jan, Feb & March for three schools at Hampton, in addition to "Church Hill" and "Normal School" - One school more than there really is - The original list of school buildings on which we were to pay rent to Gen'l. A. direct, was lost, and another made from memory. It is supposed that in making up the list from memory, that the Pungoteague Sch was ommitted, and an additional School at Hampton put in its stead.
