Dear Sir:
The only salary I can control, as supt of schools is $10. per month. that the law allows me to pay, and it does not allow me to pay more. The people are expected to board the teacher. In Virginia, the state pays nothing as yet. At Boydton, Mecklinberg Co a teacher is very much desired -- also at Powhatan Clt.
