again, so many of the scholars had gone to work in the fields, that we became discouraged, closed our school and came North the first week of May 
Our school was so small, and the reports so very meager, that we thought it would only be necessary for us to report the A.M.A. as to our Supt.
Miss Etheridge, of Montrose Pa., was my Principal, and I believe she can still make out the report, if you require it, as she has all our papers.
