Mr. Morse
Dear Sir:
Your questions as regards the building has been received In reply I would say, first that the building is under way but will have to be discontinued in a short time for the want of funds,
Secondly, that the cash value of the subscription is $160.
Thirdly, that size of the house is 28 feet by 38,
Fourthly, that the number of children is not known, but I am under the impression that there will be a full school.
Fifthly, that the house is designed as a church in which a school can be kept.
Sixly, that the land was presented by Mr. Franklin Hudson, who is willing to make a deed to it, for the benefit of the Col-people exclusively,
It is very desirable that the building should be continued, as they seem very anxious about it, and I think that with the aid of $200. dollars, we will be able to complete it, but unless you will aid, [[strikethrough]] as [[/strikethrough]] the workmen will leave. And we will be unable to do anything further,
Yours Very Respectfully.
