N 107. Vol 15 '69. R.F & A.L. N.5. Vol 1/69. R.F. and A.L. Va, Farmhams Cross roads Va. Aug 14, 1869 Neuman A.M. States that he has established a school at the abovementioned place under the auspices of the Am Bapt H Miss. Society. he now has 96. scholars Also that the freedmen in that vicinity are temperate & industrious & have purchased a lot for school purposes. In their behalf he solicits aid to the amount of $500 to erect a suitable building on the lot. Refer to Manly [[stamp]] BUREAU R. F. & A. L.
