States that Miss Jessie H. Rupert, commissioned teacher of that society, has a school with 55 pupils at New Market, Va. and is trying to purchase or build a proper school-house; that if the Bureau will assist in construction of a building, that society will arrange a proper board of Trustees in New Market who shall secure the property permanently for school purposes.

Desires to know what information is needed by the Bureau, before such assistance will be rendered.
