I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of communication of Robert Reyburn, Chf. Med. Officer, requesting transfer of rent of orphan asylum at Richmond, Va, $50.00 per month, to Educational Branch of this Bureau, approved by endorsement of the Commissioner of July 6th, 1869, and respectfully recommend that the rent paid to the orphan asylum in this city be reduced from $50 00/100 to $25 00/100 per month, which will be a liberal amount for the school accommodations furnished.
