Dear Sir:
In explanation of the letter of Joseph R. Johnson, in behalf of Sandy Parker referred to you on the 9th, it is proper for me to state that Mr. Parker has visited this Bureau and offers to donate land at once for a school house at Hall's Hill, Va., the cost of which he estimated at $250 00. He strongly represents the educational necessity of that locality, and assures me that a good school will be sustained if aid can be secured for erecting the building.
