Dear Sir:
Mrs. R. Armistead teaches at Lowry's Crossing (or near Lowry's Crossing) since April 1st. Before she taught in Morton Roberts house Campbell Co. When I advised the change I consulted Major Geo. Q. White. He directed me to report that school for the remainder of the school term according to the original contract that is with Mr. Roberts.
When you were in Lynchburg I consulted you on this same matter and you said you would make put the rent for Mrs. R. Armistead where it belongs. This avoids a great deal of inconvenience to Mrs. Armistead.
The rent formerly paid to Mr. Morton Roberts is to be transferred to Mrs. Armistead, of Lynchburg, she comes here weekly, she prefers her mail here.
