On the receipt of your letter to regard to the school at Alexandria, I wrote Mrs. Parker that the Bureau could do no more for her after June 1st. I have put her school on this account for the months of April and May, because she has been to Gen. Howard each time and received duiel-encouragement from him to hold on in her work.
