Rev. R M Manly
Sup of Ed,

Dear Sir:
The colored community at Crab Creek, six miles from Christiansburg, Montgomery County, have a building lot of their own, and are making efforts to build them a school house. Could you possible render them assistance to the amt. of $50, $60, or $75. The latter is needed. They will have a large school, and can be supplied with a teacher. Please write me definitely if possible at once.

Very respectfully
CS Schaeffer
