Another school, in the same account, has an average attendance of 7 1/2, but the surplus "enrolment" in the preceding case, would make of this also, a school entitled to draw rental.

It is proper, also, that I should inform you that some of the societies are in the habit, not only of basing their rental account on the "enrolment", but of putting in enough "men of straw" as teachers, to absorb all the surplus enrolment(above 30) in the larger schools, and draw as many times $10 as all their schools have enrolled times 30 pupils.

If this shall become the practice of all the societies, it will require more than $4000 per month to meet the rents and rental accounts for Virginia. 

I beg pardon for seeming to argue the case. I do not wish to do it: but simply to be prepared to follow out your wishes and treat all alike.
