Dear Sir,
Please furnish me, at your early convenience with a complete list of all schools, (for freedmen in your State,) called or intended to be, High or Normal schools, colleges and Universities; said list to contain in each case:
(1st) The name and location; (2nd) by whom supplied; 3rd number of pupils and teachers; (4th) number of buildings, materials of which constructed, and dimensions; (5th)value of buildings and lands.
If this information is not in your office, please obtain if by correspondence.
