979 BUREAU R.F. & A.L. Office Superintendent of Education, Virginia, Richmond, Va., June 23rd 1870 Bvt. Major Gen'l. O.O. Howard USA Commissioner. General, I have the honor to inform you that the services of O.S. Schaeffer and S.H. Jones, Asst. Supts. of Education, will not be required after June 30th. These gentlemen receive pay in accordance with the number of days actually on duty. I have also to inform you that the services of James. M.
