General,
I have the honor to inform you that the services of O.S. Schaeffer and S.H. Jones, Asst. Supts. of Education, will not be required after June 30th. These gentlemen receive pay in accordance with the number of days actually on duty.

I have also to inform you that the services of James. M. Wayt, as a clerk in this Bureau will not be required after July 10th, 1870.
