General,
I have the honor to request an appropriation of three hundred (300) dollars to make repairs upon six (6) school rooms in the city, the repairs will mainly consist of permanent furniture.

I would respectfully call the Commissioners attention to the fact that the balance of unexpended appropriation for this state for the year ending July 1st 1870, amounts to about $5.000 -
