Lately he has been feeling conscience stricken and has written to Gorodesky (Strasbourg) and promised to look over the paper before tomorrow. Frauenfelder is not well and his wife is also sick, so we feel sorry for him. So far we haven't had any winter colds.

If you want something else to get for Jack, you might get Pajamas. The last ones you gave him are still good, he likes that type. I really don't have any vital needs myself.

It seems unbelievable how warm your weather has been. Here it has been near freezing for a long time.

The most enjoyable class of the day is German. An undergrad class, full of poorly prepared students, it is easy to keep ahead; and the teacher is an extremely well-informed, witty fellow who is a continual show.
