515 Bash Court Champaign, Ill November 4, 1959 Dear Folks, Thank you for the identification of the flower (not that I will remember it!). Is it true that your name is appended to it? I wasn't sure what you were responsible for . . . The dog episode is, I believe, finally over. Did I tell how the dog tore my laundry? How I took it to the lady of the house to mend? Well, the people there took to disappearing about last Wednesday - they were never home, apparently, up to midnight. However, things kept disappearing from the house - paper, magazines, toys (yard). So we suspected that the folks were withdrawing, and a neighbor confirmed that there were moving on the first of the month. Then I began to fear that I should never see my laundry again. Friday night we stayed up all night watching for them -- of course they did not come. On Saturday they dashed in from some things, & I demanded my things back. "The next trip" they said, which would be soon. However they did not return
Transcription Notes:
I didn't understand some words, so I put question marks in brackets. Also, in the last two sentences, I am not sure if it requires quotation marks or not.
