Another problem we have now is a neighbor's dog. These neighbors are very peculiar people. The wife and her dwarf sister appear to be idiots, or nearly so. They don't stay at home much of any, sometimes they stay up all night, and seldom feed their freed dog, a small yapper. I fed him last night, and several other neighbors do. He barks at everybody at night - almost everybody - and has a penchant for barking between the hours of 5:30 and 7 in the a.m., keeping us both awake (we get up at the glorious hour of 9).

We intend to take court action if no other method solves the problem, and all the other neighbors, tho' not bothered as much as we (who are directly opposite) will sign a petition. In addition, last week he tore 4 of my clothes on the line. I took them to the wife to mend but have so far not seen the people at home.

If that thorn is removed (or it will, I firmly intend), we will indeed have a fine neighborhood in which to live and walk. Everybody else is really quite excellent, and the dog owners themselves are no problem.

Well, I must get some work done -

Love,
Doris
