September 21 1959

Dear folks,

We discovered that we had forgotten to return your key - which we now enclose. All that we can recall having left behind so far are Jack's ties, which hung around the doorknob of the closet in my old bedroom. These are not immediately called for.

It is hot here in Champaign, and dry.

I have registered now, for Russian (we begin with Pushkin's Eugene Onegin), German (2nd year)and the last math course. Jack will take a French course (?).

That's about all. Aside from its bump, the car has acted fine.

Love, Doris
