When we went to Chicago Jack had wanted to go swimming but it suddenly became quite cold. So we finally had the first swim of the year at Lake of the Woods (about 10 miles away, a very orderly section of a pond, but not too many people during the week). We enjoyed it enough to want season tickets, which we'll get the next time. We hope to go swimming about twice a week. There is a raft and an area within the buoy that not many swim in so we'll get along. Outside we can fish or wander over a considerable shoreline, and we'll bring our work with us, Jack is writing and I have homework. We'll get quite brown, I guess. While in Chicago I saw a bathing suit marked down from $18 to $2 and since it fit and looked reasonable, couldn't resist the bargain. It is pebbly material, grey and white with large pearl button on trim.

We found out that Harry Partch, the composer moved in next door last weekend. We look forward to seeing him once I finish house fixing.

Will, that's about all that has been happening lately.

Love, Doris
