Dear folks,
It is a little warmer today and the buds may come out soon.
We bought our tent last week in town, & will be able to use it before long. It has certain minor flaws of design that I have to do some sewing on, then it will be adequate. It's not like Dad's old tent!-

<-- stakes, etc
dimensions: floor 6X8 including in length back extension.
height - about 4 feet.
It has a nylon screen front

With a heavy zipper up the middle, a complete sewed-in floor. It's a medium-weight canvas, not extremely light but not heavy - weighs 9 lbs. including poles, etc. Smell of water-proofing, not unpleasantly.

Our life has become quite social lately. Last night, with a couple of day's notice, we went to a surprise birthday party for a Lebanese boy given his girl friend; we had had them at our party earlier, knowing her as the old girl-friend of a group member. He is a very pleasant, quiet fellow, probably rich, a student
