make you wait 1 1/2 - 2 hours before you can get seated. We didn't mind this but proceeded to explore the country.

Grandpa showed us his slides, or most of them one evening. We gave him a slide projector at Christmas. He can't paint so well anymore (tho' he is working on a big oil of Uncle Ed.), so we hope he can still enjoy using his camera. We intend to take him out to the Forest Preserves during the year for this purpose.

We saw our friends the Davises (Steve & Jane) on Monday and they gave us dinner before we drove back to Champaign. They have moved into a better apartment. He is attending University of Chicago for an M.S. in statistics and working part-time in summers. Their baby, who is just about the same age of Dolores', is very nice - quiet, cheerful, and as yet no problems. Just being looked at seemed to please him enough.

Today I have masses of homework and some shopping to do, so I had better get at it.

Love,
Doris
