the Rogers over for a party. It is our turn. We will probably show our latest pictures taken during the snow and ice periods. It has been so chilly here that it looks as though the snow & ice would never go away, but it is not very picturesque [[strikethrough]] here [[/strikethrough]] now.

Our power didn't go on for another day almost, but the furnace was regulated manually by the landlord so we were not cold. It is generally very warm inside, almost 75°.

Well, I must get dinner now--

Transcription Notes:
among other things, changed "operated" to "regulated" because I thought it looked more like regulated - but both mean roughly the same thing in context Note to last transcriber who left note above: Do not change the document. Type what you see. Misspellings, grammar, and all. I don't care, what makes sense to you. Type what you see! Secondly, next time, read the general instructions for transcribing. Please if you use '[strikethrough]', remember to use '[/strikethrough]' as well. Thirdly, learn to read cursive better please. You did not need to change 'operated' to 'regulated', because it read 'regulated' all along. But please, for future documents, don't change words, even if it doesn't make sense to you. Additionally, you can type [[?]] if you don't know a word, or are not sure. Ok? Makes sense? Have a good day! :)
