guess, then I knocked out a $10 article at the end of last week. My first exam (& worst) is next Friday. Jack has to go to the dentist that morning too, so I guess that's a bad time! My last exam is a week later. Jack has practically set his prelim date for the first week in February, so he will be very busy in last-minute study.

We've had a heavy snow (5 inches or so) which is just now turning to slush. It got below zero recently but as yet the car starts well (two other cars in our lot could not). I have not driven on the very slippery roads, letting Jack do that as yet.

We have not as yet received the Science News Letter but trust the rush at Christmas has slowed it down. Thank you!

Nothing much going on these days. Lipkin is giving a party for the group Saturday night, that's about all the social events we'll be going to for a while. Jack is hard at work on his experiment & always gets home after 6. lazier on the supper business, anyway. Thought of Miss Deichmann recently as read I Sailed with Rasmussen, about Greenland Danes.

Love,
Doris
