further again that when not at work on the farm, this survivor for the entire year shall be at the disposal of the said Dempsey to be used by him as ordinary hirelings by the year that they are to have no frolics or gatherings without his consent, that they attend to his flock on Sundays as well as at other times & that they may at any time be disciplined for misconduct or receiving compensation at the rate of Ten Dollars per month for services rendered - after which they have no interest in the crop. Said freedmen further agree that they will raise no chickens, hogs or other stock without the consent of the said Dempsey & that they will not use the home of the farm nor cut any timbers from the land without the consent of the said Dempsey Trevathan
