This Indenture made Febry 1 1866 between A. J. Williford of the first part and Everit Jenkins and his two children of the second part for Labor for the ballance of the year 1866 & A. J. Williford of the first part and the said Everit Jenkins and his two children collored people have entered in to a contract to farm to gether for the above stated year on half of A. J. Williford and to furnish the said team and supplies for the team and all tools at first for the commencement of the farms and if the broken tools he is to supplie new ones in thar place and if he looses time he is to deduct fifty cents per day for every day he looses and Twenty five cents per day for every day his two children looses and I am to sell him six Hundred lbs of Bacon as 25 cents per lb and I am to forward him with corn for Bread and the crops is to be all mine untill  I am paid for the Supplies I furnished him The Said Everit Jenkins and his two children are to preform the Labor and B[[?]] [[?]] salary and the said collored people are to clean out the ditches and to repair the fences and to [[should?]] up the Lands and said lands as to cultivate 27 Acres in corn and 8 Acres in cotton and said Everit and his two children if then leave before the 1st day of January 1867 he is to have no new parts of the Crops, and the said A. J. Williford agrees to furnish the said free laborers with comfortable quarters, and firewood to be hawled [[hauled]] out of the field, and he allows them to rais [[raise]] as much poltry [[poultry]] as they choose
