III. For every day's labor lost by absence except for the reasons stated above the laborer shall forfeit fifteen  15  cents for board. If absent more than three  3  days without leave unless it be on account of sickness or other unavoidable cause to be subject to dismissal from the plantation to the paid up to date of his dismissal deducting these from day advance that may have been made by the employer either in money or any articles which were to have been accounted for. The wages due him shall be paid to him.
IV. Said Freedman agrees to take good care of all utensils tools and implements used on the plantation also to be kind and gentle to all work animals entrusted to his care also to pay for any injury done to either the animals or farming tools while in his hands and by reason of his own carelessness or neglect.
V. In case of sickness to be taken care of by his employer and if Physician is needed said Freedman Pay, the bill.
VI Employers agree to pay said Freedman nine  9  dollars per month.
If said Freedman leaves his employers before his time expires he shall forfeit all his wages due him up to time of leaving.
VII The employers will keep a book in which they shall enter all advances in money or any articles made by them to the laborer and all forfeiture of loss of time which book shall be received as evidence in the same manner as Merchants books are now received in counts of
