That D A T Ricks party of the 1st pt and Arch Ricks and Stanley Parker parties of the 2d pt. do jointly make the following Viz.

That said Ricks is to furnish a portion of his Farm already agreed on to the undersigned parties of the 2d pt. Also four mules and their board and all impliments necessary to carry on the farm. Also six hundred bushels of Cotton seed. The parties of the 2d pt. are to furnish eight serviceable laborers who are to cultivate said farm in a good farm like manners and time not spent in cultivating said farm is to be spent in improvements subject to the control of said Ricks. The parties of the 2d pt. are to have as holiday 1/2 one half of every other Saturday. No lost time to be deducted for bad weather. Said Ricks furnishes food and houses free of rent. About (2/3) two thirds of said farm is to be planted & cultivated in Cotton & the balance in corn. The Crop raised on said farm is to be divided as follows: Said Ricks is to have (1/2) one half of the corn and (1/4) one fourth of the Cotton for rent. And 1/2 of the remainder. Parties of the 2d pt are to furnish themselves with sufficient rations. The farm is to be cultivated under the direction of said Ricks. The party of the first pt retains all the cotton seed and shucks. The parties of the 2d plan to have 1/2 of the corn 3/8 of the Cotton and 1/2 of the fodder. this Contract is to begin January 1 1867 and terminate Dec 25th 1867.
