Leave of absence for Twenty (20) days is hereby granted Maj L.B. Sample A.A.G. U.S.C.I. with permission to proceed forth.
II Surgeons in charge of Freedman Hospitals are hereby authorized to employ the necessary attendants for the Hospitals under this change. Ordinarily Hospital attendants are allowed as follows: to a Hospital with 100 beds or more.
One Steward Pay $30 per month and one ration per day
One Wardmaster Pay $10 per month and one ration per day
One Male nurse to every 10 male patients Pay $8 per month and one ration per day
One Female nurse to

every 10 female patients Pay $6 per month and one ration per day
One Female cook to every 20 patients Pay $10 per month and one ration per day
One Laundress to every 25 patients Pay $8 per month and one ration per day
Two Laborers to each Hospital Pay $6 per month and one ration per day
Hospital standards are to be obtained formally detail from The Army whenever positions be known additional pay will be paid by the Bureau.
III Lt J.B. Morgan 12 Iowa Vols is hereby
assigned to duty as first Supt of Freedmen at Selma and will report to Chaplain S.S. Gardner at that place

Chaplain S.S. Gardner 96 USCI  is hereby assigned to duty as Superintendent Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands for the District of Selma containing the Counties of Dallas, Perry, Shelby, Jefferson, Blount, Wilcox, Bibb, Talladega, Randolph,
Calhoun and St Clair.
II Brvt James Faritty "K" Col 11th Mo Vols is hereby relieved from duty in this Bureau and will forthwith report to the Comdr officer of his Regt Q.M. Dept will furnish transportation
