In compliance with endorsed instruction from the Commissioner, by order of the Secty of War of date April 3rd 1869 the Chief Disbursing Officer Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Ala will on the 26th instant, well at public auction, in accordance with existing orders and regulations two (2) Log Houses situated at Talladega. Ala

I. The Chief Disbursing Officer Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Alabama, is hereby authorized and will contract for labor and material at a cost, not exceeding two thousand dollars $2000 00/100, to be expended in erecting a Freedmens School, upon ground purchased for that purpose, at Camden, Wilcox Co. Alabama.

His property return will account for this expenditure, and the proper vouchers therefor will be paid upon presentation to the Chief Disbursing Officer Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Alabama.

II. The Chief Disbursing Officer Bureau R.F. and A.L. State of Ala. is hereby authorized to expend a sum not exceeding forty dollars ($40 00/100) in repairing the Freedmens School at Lurkinsville, Jackson County Alabama
