GENERAL ORDERS,
No. 49

1. Officers of the Quartermaster's Department will furnish supplies of Quartermaster's Stores, means of Transportation, Buildings, Storage, &c., to Officers of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen &c., only on requisitions which have been approved by the Commissioner of the Bureau, and then submitted to the Secretary of War, for his orders thereon.
