State of Alabama } Prolate Judges Office Greene Country } April 18th 1869 Mr Major Pierco - Agent Freedmans Bureau Nemoholis Ala. At your request allow me to respectfully report as Profato Judge of Greene Co. What I have found out the following persons as apprentices under the act of the Legislature passed + approved 23rd of July 1866 as required by Sec.10 of said Act-to-will. 1st Wiley Watson + Walter Watson, children of Isabella Watson, a freedwoman, and in doing so, it was done at the request of the said Isabella Watson their mother. Along, she being by me examined, separate + apart from the said parties above mentioned + believing + knowing personally from proof that William Watson was a suitable person to whom the two freeminors might be found without prejudice to the said minors sistered + it being proven satisfactorily to my mind by the testimony of Isabella Watson who did live or reside with the said Will Watson + who stated that it was at her request knowing + believing that the Watsons was a [[?]] + proper man to whom her children should be bound for their best interest.
