Sub Asst Com B.R.F & A L.

Colonel.
In compliance with instructions from your Office, I have the honor to forward the following "General Report" of the Operations of the Bureau in this Sub District.
I would respectfully report that every thing is now quiet in this Sub District, and things in general are moving in the ordinary smooth course.
Aside from the disturbance at Greensboro on account of the murder of Alexander Brett. Register (a full report of my investigation of which has already been submitted) there has been no disturbance of a public character within the limits of this Sub District since I have been on duty here.
Since my last report, there have been several cases of assault and Battery reported to this Office, all of which have received the prompt attention of the Civil authorities, upon their receiving notice of the Account.
