Real Estate is worthless or nearly so, and how all or even the majority of the laborers only will find employment and means to live, is more than can be prophesied, and in my opinion a good many freedmen will be compelled, to seek homes elsewhere.  Suffering is great already now; (I know plantations on which freedmen have for above a month been living solely on corn meal)and will fearfully increase, unless some means are adopted to bring relief in this part of the State.
