I have the honor to Submit the following Report of the operations of the Bureau, and Freedmen's affairs in this Sub-District, for the month ending July 31st. 1867.

Cases for Investigation.
The following is the action taken during the month of July on Cases referred from Hd. Qrs. to this Office for investigation:

Letter from H. Spann, Enon, Ala. June 7th '67, to Hd. Qrs. Montgy. Ala., charging W.M. Robinson with Swindling colored laborers; - also, with evading Revenue Law. 
July 9th - Letter written to H. Spann, giving instructions and directions.- No answer received yet.

No 7 -
Letter from F.W. Gilbreth, Mt. Pleasant. Fla., June 20th '67, forwarding to Hd. Qrs. Montgy., particulars of the Shooting of Dan'l Webster, by one Pippin of Eufaula.  Referred to this Office 29th of June.
July 15 - Referred to Asst. Com'r. of Ga., to whom were referred previous papers on same case.  Notice of such reference sent Col. Kinsman, at Montgy. - Pippins, learning that the Sh'ff. has a warrant for him, has fled to parts unknown.
