I have the honor to submit the following Report of the Operations of the Bureau and Freedmen's Affairs in this Sub. Dist. for the month ending August 31- 1867.

Cases for Investigation.
No. 6. - Case reported by H. Spann of Enon, Bullock County, against W.M. Robinson. (Referred to in July Report.)
Aug. 6 - Charges investigated at this Office. - Robinson acquitted. - Action reported to Hd. Qrs.

No. 12 - Letter from J.L. Moultrie, Union Springs, Ala. July 22nd. 1867, requesting interference in behalf of Sarah Jane, (col.) who was bound to J.A. Wilson of Bullock County.  Referred to this Office. - Recd. July 30- 1867.
Aug. 5 - Case referred to Probate Judge of Bullock County.
Aug. 9 - Probate Judge notified this Office that the indentures of Sarah Jane have been revoked.

No. 13. - J.G.W. Skipper, Agt. for Dale County, forwards to Hd. Qrs., Montg'y., statement of discrepancy in amount of supplies, (corn & bacon,) recd. for Dale County. - Statement referred to this Office for investigation, July 30- 1867.
