No. 18. - Henry Phillips, Union Springs, Ala., July 29-1867, forwards to Hd. Qrs., Dist. of Ala., request for the release of his niece, bound to Abel Taitum of Cotton Vally. Referred to this Office, Aug. 12th 1867.
Aug. 26 - Directions sent Probate Judge to take action in accordance with Gen. Orders No. 3. C.S.

No. 19 - T.C. Genth, Blakely, Ga., forwards to Hd. Qrs. Dist. of Ga., statement of the case of one Mills of Calhoun County, Ga., who has fled from justice, and is supposed to be in Ala. - Referred to this Office, with instructions August 17 - 1867. 
Aug. 20 - Directions sent Probate Judge of Henry to endeavor to have Mills arrested, and held subject to Orders from Hd. Qrs.
