State of feeling, and exciting the fears of the timid and distrustful. Every effort is made, with the means of command, to correct this state of affairs. It is feared, however, that it may yet be necessary to have a few soldiers stationed somewhere in the Sub. District, in order to regulate affairs. A few "blue coats" with bayonets would, no doubt, be of great service.
The great press of business at the Office has been the cause of the delay of this Report.
