Feeling between the Races 

The feeling between the races is about as reported last month. In some parts of the Sub. Dist. there appears [[strikethrough]] there appears [[/strikethrough]] to be a disposition among some lawless individuals to take the law into their own hands, thereby producing a bad state of feeling, and exciting the fears of the timid and distrustful. 

It may be proper to state here that the Ku Klux Klan vanished with the appearance of the orders of the Military  It is thought, however, that a few soldiers in the Sub. Dist. would not be amiss.-
