give the required "Bond"  There seems to be but little Suffering among the Colored-people.

2nd  But little has been done in the way of establishing Schools for the freedmen  they have no money to Spend and there are none so much interested as to teach upon promises The County Superintent of Education has played out and until an efficent man is put in that position the colored people will have but few schools.

3rd  I am happy to report that the prospects for the Colored peoples' sustaining them-selves bodily and politically is much better than at the time of my last report  The election of Grant will put an end to Copperheads and Rebels. "God speed the day.
