Sir:
In compliance with instructions contained in Circular No. 4 dated War Department Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands. Washington D.C Feby 5' 1867. I have the honor to submit the following as my report of operations of the Bureau and Freedmens affairs during the month of September 1867.

Employees.
Two clerks have been employed during the month at a Salary of One hundred dollars per month. My County agents have in compliance with instructions received from your office, been suspended to take effect from this date.

No Orders.
None have come to my knowledge during the month.

Claim
During the month eleven applications for bounty of discharged colored soldiers have been made out and forwarded from this office through the Sub. Asst. Com'r Montgomery Ala. to Washington D.C.
