Teachers are supported in part by tuition, and in part by the Am. Miss. Association, The Bureau furnishing buildings. Nothing has, as yet been done by the County School Board but speedy action is expected which will result in their assuming the rent of buildings and perhaps the maintenance of teachers. At any rate this action is expected to devote a part of the School Fund to educational purposes among the colored people who hitherto have paid school tax without deriving benefit therefrom.
