In compliance with instructions from Head Qrs Dist of Alabama, I have the honor to submit the following General Report of Labor performed at this office during the months of December 1867. 

Fourteen (14) Complaints have been made by Freedmen where they have been discharged without pay for the time they had labored, these cases have settled at this office or referred to the proper Civil Authorities

Two (2) cases of assaults on Freedmen by white persons reported, both of which have been referred to the Civil Authorities.

Two Hundred (280) and eighty complaints have been made, where Employees have moved their crop without making settlement with the laborers or without their consent, all of which cases have been referred to the Justices of the Peace or other officers having jurisdiction, with directions to take action under Genl Order Nos 13 & 14 Hd Qrs Dist of Ala. current series, immediate action have been taken in all cases heard from.

Nine (9) applications to revoke indentures of Apprenticeship have been made, all of which have been referred to the proper Civil Authorities with directions to take action under
