Applications for revoke indentures of Apprenticeships have been made all of which have been referred to the proper Civil Authorities, with directions to take action under Genl Order No. 3 ltd Hd Qrs Dist of Ala.

Forty (40) Settlements with the Freedmen have been made at this office, by their employers, before me, all of which have been settled just [[ripped]].

Complaints are being made by Freedmen that [[ripped]] player (who leased lands) have nothing that they can [[ripped]] to secure pay for their years labor, their lands and stock having been taken for rent and supplies.
There is a report among the Freedmen, in which they are made to believe that they are not to employ themselves until after the 4th of February, this report is paid to originate from persons who are making political speeches in different parts of this Sub District.
